This photo which I have taken is framed on the left hand side. But the female is stood behind the male protagonist holding flowers as her prop. She is holidng flowera and her expression on her face is worried and she is looking at him to and thinking. I wanted to include the leaves in my shoot as my setting is set in autumn. But it didn't work so well. I would say this is my best shot including the leaves. They are dressed in warm autum clothes to provide narrative information that the fil will be set in the autum time and will be about a love story. If i used this I would obviously crop it as you can see bits which aren't supposed to be there.
I really like these two images for my film poster. I think it represents the genre comepletly. Just like in my flat plans I always wanted to female to be positioned behind the male charater. I prefer the bottom picture with them smiling rather than their face's being serious. I also don't like how the top picture was positioned i think Taigh's head looks too close in depth and he needs to either step back or i zoom out. But i love how the bottom picture is framed and positioned. Although i would move them slightly more to the left and further up the page as their eye lines are different and when I add text it will look a bit weird becuase they will be looking at different things.
I like the idea of this photo for my film poster as it shows the contrast between the stereotypical social groups. The gay character and taighs friend are stood on the left hand side of the screen to show that in society homosexuals get less credit for being who they are. And I have gotten Adam to pull that pose as to say 'get off me' towards marcus (the gay character) to show the sexuality in society is really becoming quite a problem and people are turning 'homophobic'. It also needs cropping and editing done to it. I've also put Marcus in a pink shirt to represent his femininity.
Marcus, medium shot. I've dressed him like that to show how ive represented him as a gay character. i.e. tight top, tight jeans, hair flicked and a big cheesy smile.
I love this shot of Taigh. I would use this photo for my magazine front cover. I've seen a shot of Robert Pattison posed simular to this and I think it looks really effective. I would frame him more to the left and have my headlines and taglines situated to the right of hiim and maybe a few headlines across over the top of where his tee shirt is.
I also love this picture, the shot of him where the camera is looking down. I have done this as Taigh lacks a lot of confidence in the film so I've made the audience look down on him to set across some narrative structure. I like the colours used in his top, it makes it look more bright and effective but it wouldn't go with the colour scheme I want to use for my magazine cover which would be red, black and white so the blue could add some difference to it but it could also clash.
This picture, again shows how society has sterotyped 'gays'. As Marcus has gone to kiss Adam, Adam is having none of it and looks discuted. And this is how the media comes across to us as a audeince, some people find it disgusting how homosexuals can fancy onther member of the opposite sex.
I really really like this picture. This photo shoot idea was took from my flat plans, but im not quite sure weather to use and include Marcus and Adam in the magazine cover as they aren't presented as the main characters in my trailer. But i like the position Taigh is stood in.
